365 #36 On February 21, 2 years ago...

I put on this dress,

Had my make up done,

Then cried because he had snuck me a touching love note,
as he always does,

Stood with my loved ones and looked out of the window,

And looked at this beautiful sight,

Then I got on a buggy, and down again,
And started to cry again,
because I heard my brother singing our song:
"I'm yours" by Jason Mraz.

Then I followed my sisters, who were my bridesmaid and maid of honor,

And held on to my daddy for dear life,

While he walked me down the aisle,
And handed me to my man,
Then I looked into the eyes of my love,

We recited our vows,

And then said, "I do".

We walked back down the aisle,

Grabbed our families and friends for pictures and dances,

Threw my bouquet,

Had my cake,
and ate it too,

And lived happily ever after.

Random holiday shots #1

We just got back from our one week holiday in Super Hubby's hometown. I'm rested, exhausted, happy and grumpy all at the same time. :) These mixed emotions might have something to do with the fact that our drive home was 15 hours long, and costed us 350 euro PER WAY in petrol and toll charges.

WE SHOULD HAVE JUST TAKEN A FLIGHT!!!

*complaining wife mode off*

Back very soon

See, I've been so happily spending sisterly time with Paopei that I didn't feel the need to 'talk' here lately.

She's going back in two days though. So looks like I'll be pounding away furiously at my keyboard again very, very, very soon.

Am going to miss my noisy cheerful cuddly-wug!

Super Happy!!!!!

They're here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so thrilled I can hardly believe it's true. Been smiling like a fool the whole day.

Today was dedicated to acclimatising them to European time, and doing everyday stuff like cooking at home and walking in the park.

I made porkchops and arugula salad for lunch. (Daddy: Kesh ate lotsa salad and didn't ask for rice :))

Then we hung out at home with William during his afternoon break.

Then we went for a walk and some ice cream in the park. Today's weather was unusually warm and sunny and nice! Hard to imagine that I actually had to put on the heater cos it was so cold yesterday.

Then, as they were about to faint from exhaustion, we went home and I attempted to make roast chicken.  I say attempt cos while the end result wasn't so bad, I actually didn't realize you had to pluck the leftover feather bits out of the chicken before cooking it. Mi saw the chicken in the oven and laughed. *shy*

It ended up being quite yummy if you discounted the feather ends.

Then mummy went straight to bed and me & Kesh are lepaking with White Chicks right now. Ahhhh... this is the life. (Paopei, Don, Bryan and Daddy, you're missed!)
