In porkie heaven
On holiday. With my fave (butchered) animal in the world. I never did realise how much I love and could miss pork until I started living in Istanbul, where I still have yet to find the mythical and one and only pork butcher in town. Now that we're back in France, my meals are filled with this beautiful meat.

Juicy melon, turkish pastry (beats me what it's called), and some turkish red after an amaaaaazingggg steak: my idea of a perfect Sunday dinner. Ahhhhhhh...

365 #70 Bun!
With the weather climbing up these days, my go-to hairstyle is the bun. I have extremely long hair, and it's such a relief to pile it all up and let the breeze get to my neck. Here's how I do my bun. Though this pic isn't mine and I took it from here, it best illustrates my steps. Which, for those of you who know me well enough, means this is another lazy day post. :p

365 #43, 44, 45... 69
I am a bad weather friend!!! I admit! I admit!
Since I got back from Dubai, Istanbul has been bursting with good weather and my days are filled with bright sunshine and beautiful smiles. Been hosting dinners and lunches, shopping, going out for walks, sorting out the 30!!! boxes of shoes and bags and books of our shipment that just arrived from Luxembourg, enjoying the bursting goodness of fresh fruits and veges that are in season now, shopping, planning out my spring outfits, shopping, planning holidays, making lists and crossing them off, shopping, basking in the attention of friends who visit, drawsomething, obsessing over Audrey Hepburn... You know, that kinda thing.
Anyways, after some not so subtle reminders from my sisters Starr and Leanne back home, the FlyingFish returns. :))
Regular blogging resumes tomorrow. In the meantime, here are some random pictures of things I've been loving lately. Yes, yes, it includes my new, bright and shiny gold sneakers.
