Dream a lil dream

Dreamy's Disclaimer: Got all these pics all over the internet. If any of 'em are yours, fret not, I am not claiming ownership to them. Except, maybe, in my daydreams. There, they belong to me. ALL MINE!

New Toy?

I'm debating whether or not to get a kindle.

I know, I know. I love the smell and feel of REAL books as well. But at the rate I go through a book (i.e. really, really, really quickly) I can't help but feel that a kindle would make my bags MUCH lighter, especially when I travel. It's batteries even supports ONE MONTH of reading without charging! How cool is that?

Then there's a part of me (the idealistic, old school part) which feels like I'd be selling out and betraying the soul of books if I started reading electronically.

Then again, there's another part of me which also feels like a Kindle would be a much more environmentally friendly option instead of the trees I'm contributing to killing when I buy a 932 page book (like Shantaram that I'm reading now).

Decisions, decisions...

*Ipad et all not an option. I want to read, not act cool :p

I WANT I WANT I WANT

Been spending too much time on the internet, and these things I covet somehow keep appearing, as if taunting and begging me to buy them.

So, thought maybe if I put them here instead, they'd leave me in peace, since it'd be like I already virtually have it.

*Going through the pictures and writing about this was fun. Maybe I'll do this the next time I have another shopping urge, to curb the money spending demon in me.*

1. The Leica D-Lux 3

Such a pretty, pretty camera!

Both black and white/silver are absolutely gorgeous!

I'd take such good pictures with this beauty!

2. Hermes Kelly Caleche Riding Boots

Sigh. These are so beauteous. Need I say more?

But with the prices around 1500 to 1700 euros per pair, I definitely can only own them in the virtual world.

(*erm, while I'm at it and wishing away, I also want that ass and those legs of the model)

3. Mikimoto Pearls

Classic. Timeless. Gorgeous.

If I had one of these, I'd NEVER buy costume jewelry ever again.

 4. B&B Italia Sofa

We need a new sofa very urgently. The temporary sofa bed we got when we first moved in is giving us back-aches and is so uncomfortable that I've taken to sitting on the floor.

I know we'll end up with another Ikea one, but no harm dreaming about these handsome Italian hunks.

Style mesti ada

For the launch of the restaurant, a new friend who owns a cambodian couture showroom decided to loan me some dresses.

I was filled with so much joy! I mean, I loved everything in her store! Trying to narrow down three to wear was so freaking difficult. Everything I tried on fit me like a glove, and made me feel like a million bucks. I loved the Asian influences, with the European cuts and attention to detail. So elegant, so subtle, and the material, so luxurious!

So, here's me in my loaned dresses. Each costing approx 250 to 400 euros, designer: Romyda Keth.

We have a problem now. I think I'm getting used to wearing expensive stuff. Somehow, they seem to fit me better.

How?
